Our Favorite Minneapolis Marketing Agencies

When we made the decision to focus on inbound marketing and video marketing as our core business we needed Twin Cities PR agencies to recommend for our clients and new prospects. One of the long time pillars of our business was public relations and our clients came to expect a certain level of performance and service. They also trusted us for in-depth knowledge of the media since members of our team came from the news media. So when it came to introducing our friends to new friends, we became fairly selective.
Nemer Fieger is a full-service marketing agency providing public and media relations, entertainment marketing, event planning, cause marketing, creative design as well as media planning and buying. Nemer Fieger has a strong reputation. Like the others on this list, they are not the biggest shop in town, but they are powerful. They have a reputation for integrity and excellent service. Most importantly, they have a terrific reputation with the media and outstanding contacts.
At the heart of Nemer Fieger's PR team is Sr. Media Relations Specialist, Molly Steinke. As a former television news reporter, I can say from first hand experience, there's no one better than Molly. She is a PR pro who wins with integrity, bust-your-butt work-ethic and "I've got your back" commitment. Though, I've never been Molly's client, I have worked with Molly as a reporter and like other media members I know, "in Molly we trust!"
Area of specialty: Entertainment, hospitality, food, lifestyle, events, multi-unit retail, non-profits and automotive.
If you can get Peg Roessler to take on your work, consider yourself fortunate. She's a one-person-shop, who has owned her own agency and found the work more gratifying as an independent practitioner. Could Peg go big with national and international pitches? Absolutely, however, she'll be the first person to tell you her approach is intensely local.
"I love everything about our local market, and I love representing the businesses and cultural organizations that make this area special."
She's worked with big, multinational businesses who want to get to know our market, and she enjoys making those introductions and connections. Peg also works with a range of small and mid-sized companies and organizations that are truly woven into the fabric of the Twin Cities metro area.
Speaking from the media side, like Molly Steinke, everyone knows Peg and it's because she's buttoned-down and services both her client and the media.
Peg says, "Anyone who has a message they’d like to get out to our local market, and my approach is that Minnesotans like honesty and quality, so that’s what I deliver."
Area of specialty: local media relations

I know more about Lola Red PR, truthfully, because they beat us out on a couple pitches early on in the StoryTeller lifecycle and I heard wonderful things about Alexis Walsko and the work performed by her team. Alexis started Lola Red PR after graduating from college and has built a boutique PR agency in Minneapolis. Last year Lola Red added Maria Reitan, former news director and Sr. Principal at Carmichael, Lynch, Spong to its team as President.
According to Maria, "We hustle, and we don’t take no for an answer. Our team will turn over every stone in order to exceed client expectations. We do a lot of things really well, but when it comes to media relations, especially, Lola Red has no equal."
Lola Red is a boutique lifestyle agency with expertise in the food & beverage, home products, retail, franchise, health & wellness, fitness & beauty industries.
Area of specialty: Lola Red is the agency brands call when they want an introduction to the Minnesota market - both to the media and critical influencers.
