StoryTeller Media + Communications is honored to announce our selection as one of the 2022 Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Best Places to Work. The Best Places to Work list results from a comprehensive measurement of Twin Cities’ organizations that have successfully built teams and workplaces that excel in positive company culture (both in-person and/or remotely). The award recognizes the Twin Cities’ most “engaging, inclusive workplaces – a must-have in today's tight labor market,” states MSPBJ.
This is a repeat win for StoryTeller, but this year’s award meant something extra special. As with many organizations throughout the pandemic, StoryTeller has faced much uncertainty and transformation over the last few years. During that time, our agency constantly returned to unique differentiators as a guide post, seeking ways to grow, serve clients, and be a force for good across the business community. We’re pleased to announce that in the wake of the pandemic, StoryTeller has not only retained clients, but the company has also grown significantly in the past year, nearly tripling in size since the end of 2020.
“I think what makes StoryTeller unique is our approach to marketing. Our journalistic roots–to stay curious and unbiased–guide us in creating authentic written and video content for our clients,” explained Ed Heil, President and CEO of StoryTeller. "Ultimately, it’s about helping our clients increase awareness, build trust and grow their business. We make a difference and that helps us attract talented people, and wonderful clients.”
"Beyond the growth, I’m especially proud of our agency’s commitment to our company values,” said Ed. "Being named Best Places to Work again is a testament to our values-driven approach. Our core values uphold our team and continue to effectively shape how we show up every day for our clients and each other.”
The StoryTeller core values that define our work are:
StoryTeller joins 69 other honorees selected from submissions based on the quality of the companies’ confidential employee responses. MSPBJ’s survey and research partner is Quantum Workplace, based in Omaha, NE, which scores companies based on the employee surveys. Quantum evaluates submissions across various topics, from company culture, to management effectiveness, opportunities for employee growth, and offered incentives.
On August 12th, MSPBJ’s special publication will feature all 70 honorees and is hosting a celebration event the afternoon prior at Topgolf. They will be revealing the employee-survey scores and rankings within their category, so stay tuned!
